JAKARTA: PT Agis Tbk, a listed electronic distributor and retailer, recorded a net profit of IDR3.97 billion in the first 9 months period, reversing a loss of IDR3.04 billion a year earlier.
According to the company's filing to Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), its earnings per share was IDR0.95 cent. The company's revenue dropped 25.27% to IDR136.22 billion, from IDR 182.27 billion.
Its gross profit slumped more than a half to IDR7.68 billion from IDR17.56 billion, despite a 21.96% decrease in cost of goods sold.
The company booked other revenues, ranging from interest income, rental income, and proceeds from the sale of fixed assets, reached IDR25.38 billion, jumped almost four times than the same period of a year ago.
Cash and cash equivalents declined 33.04% to IDR3.36 billion as of September 30, 2011, compared to IDR5.02 billion at end of 2010. (ags)
